The Chevelle parts car is gone! I think my neighbor was pretty happy!

The replacement rear should be ready early next week. Actually it was supposed to be ready today, but I asked for just one more little change, and just like in my business, that added some time to the project. I asked that the spring plates be done differently to move the shocks in just a fraction of an inch. The shocks showed signs that the tires had bee a little close. Since this axle is three-quarters of an inch narrower, it seemed wise to move things a little.

Axle should go under next week. I need to revise the both the hydraulic and emergency brakes. And since the axle supports different wheels I need to get new wheels and get the tires installed on them. Its possible the weekend of the 10th it will be back on the road, but I'm not holding my breath...
