Just a quick note. The Chevelle parts car now sits on blocks waiting for the local towing folks to come get it. I already paid them to take it away, and expect it to be gone within a few more days.

The disk brakes, along with the master cylinder and apportioning valve are in a box. The rear with its 11 inch brakes are sitting next to the car, and though I'm tempted to take more stuff off the car, I don't really have any place to keep things I don't need, so they go with the car.

I've talked to a couple shops about my rear end transplant. One left me with the feeling he  was sizing up my wallet and came to conclusions my checking account does not  support. Another says on his web site that he gives free advice and lets do  it your-selfers do it themselves, while doing what they can't. This seems like the right approach. I'm not confident in my welding, but I can turn a wrench  and think I could get the axle in pointed the right direction.

So nothing very  exciting on the OldSub front... I just felt the need to update things a little.
