I talked today with my friend Jon who operates a local mechanic shop. He says that the old bias ply tires are likely a big part of why the sub doesn't go down the road well at speed. He is going to find a set of wheels and tires that will fit it so we can test his theory. Who knows, maybe we'll be putting off the need to revisit the suspension for a while... I won't know until next week.
