Who Came?
Stu and I. Paul, who until recently was one of my co-workers. Paul has started a new business detailing cars. Michael, another of my co-workers, with his three kids. His wife escaped with mine to a movie. Levi and Jordan. Elden. I bought the van from Elden's dad. I think he enjoyed destroying it. Dustin. Bob. Nolan. Jeffrey and his three sons. Jeffrey is another old truck guy I met on the net. He drove his '52 3/4-ton over.

What
I had quite a list of things we needed to remove from the van. We worked on pulling the Chevrolet 350 V-8 engine and Turbo 400 transmission, tilt steering-column, and lots of other stuff. We didn't get it all....

The oil filter is lined up with the engine mount. Then it started raining hard. We stopped...

Kind of a tight fit! This is the cherry picker hitting the cowl, with the motor not quite high enough yet. It will take more work to get it out!
As we left it at day's end.

Thanks to EVERYONE that showed up to help!

What's Next?
I'm glad you asked! I'll need to quickly complete the list of Van Items because it needs to go. Why the hurry? Well I've lined up a 1978 Holiday Rambler motorhome with a 454/400 turbo, and I'm eager to drag it here and take it apart. It will donate a dually rear axle that I think will go under the '47. Great fun!
