Little Red Truck comes apart!

Fun times in our yard:

	I took some pictures before we took it apart. The sticks on the bed came from the local Coast to Coast store and are exactly 36-inches long. Our goal was to remove the front clip, bed and cab. Getting the motor and transmission and stipping the frame would be nice too.
	This was another call-over-the-teens and have lots of fun project. If you can't see their faces its because I didn't want anyone's parents concerned about their kid being on the web. Don't think I'm avoiding giving credit to these kids! They are great help! Stu and I started real early at about 10-something. Soon we were in full-swing. Enough guys came that we were able to attack front and rear at the same time. Here the guys are removing bed bolts.
	And here we're working on the font-end. The driver's side fender was removed before I got the truck, but we still had a lot of work to do to get the whole thing ready to pull off.
	But it didn't take long. Shortly after lunch the front came off...
	And sat in the yard.
	Just a little later we were all grunting at the rear as the bed lifted off.

	And a detail view of the front. I took a bunch of pictures that I hope will help when time comes to actually mount things like the bumpers.

We didn't get the cab, or suspension... When we finished the bolts were out of the cab, all wires disconnected, the steering and pedals were cleared. The speedometer cable and emergency brake mechanisms where still in place. I've lifted the body a few inches, but still need to do a little work before it comes off.

I need to decide where I'm going to store the cab and how I'm going to lift it all the way off. These things are important, and will need to be decided soon. Part Two finishes this story!
