More Wheels

Last night I had three more new wheels put on.
I made that decision after deciding I would drive it the way it is for a while, instead of moving quickly to update the suspension. Interestingly, three more new wheels have improved the ride and handling. I did not expect that to be the case, but apparently the old wheels were in worse shape than I had imagined.
I also discovered that when driving an indicated 55 the sub traverses the space between two mile markers in 60 seconds. I don't think this is either a time warp or wheel phenomena. I think the speedometer is wrong.

I filled the tank for a second time yesterday. I got 17 miles per gallon on my first tank. I was prepared for 10 or 12, so this is good news.
